At eight weeks old this boy went to live with his new forever family. It broke my heart as I had become very attached to him. Luckily for me, a few months later, they returned him to us. So without a doubt he was named Northernwolfs Comeback Kid after my late friend, hero and inspiration, sled dog musher, Lance Mackey. Within two weeks of having him back in our kennel, my daughter had entered him in his first show. She worked tirelessly to train him, which paid off when he came first and bringing home Best Puppy in Breed and qualifying for Crufts 2024. Mackey then went on to take first place in his class at Crufts, gaining best male junior Siberian Husky. This boy is full of life. He is crazy, mad as a box of frogs, funny, and I wouldnt have him any other way.
