Sam Douglas from Hull needs your help.
His one year old Siberian Husky, Luna has cataracts and may go blind without getting immediate surgery from an eye specialist.
What started as a squint in one eye a couple of weeks ago, and was treated for conjunctivitis by a local vet, has now been confirmed as cataracts by the specialist.
Luna is such a loving and caring girl, always smiling, playing with other dogs and people and is a very much loved member of the Douglas family.
The vet is very optimistic that Lunas sight can be saved if she is to have immediate surgery on one or maybe both eyes.
Although Luna is insured, the full cost of such specialist veterinary treatment is much higher than the insurance will pay out, in fact it leaves a shortfall of £8000 to pay to save her sight.
Please help Luna, and the Douglas family by donating a small amount to help save Lunas sight.
Does your insurance cover your dog in case it needs specialist care ?
