“The Alaskan Malamute Yesterday & Today”, by Barbara Brooks and Sherry Wallis, is generally regarded as not only one of the best Malamute reference books there is, but probably the best. It is the definitive guide to owning, caring for and loving an Alaskan Malamute, with chapters covering every aspect of living with this fabulous breed.
Originally published in 1998, it had been out of print for several years and, during this time, copies were changing hands for up to £400.
In 2010 this much sought after book was re-printed for the first time in soft-back format, and a number of copies became available in the UK, which sold out very quickly.
The publishers will now only print the book ‘to order’, and, once again, a limited number of copies are available in the UK, all brand new and still in their cellophane wrapping.
