Lacy Kuehl drives cars. Nascar Legends Cars – fast.
But this year Lacy, is attempting something a little different. A little more sedate than she is used to but maybe just as demanding.
Lacy is taking on the Junior Iditarod.
She currently drives to promote a charity close to her heart – Drive for Diabetes Awareness. She lost her brother to Diabetic Ketoacidosis when he was only one year old.
Lacy has teamed up with veteran musher Nic Petit, who has helped her prepare for the Junior Iditarod taking place on February 25th 2023.
Not only is Lacy using some of Nic Petit’s dogs, it has been said that at least one of her dog team will be a dog that belonged to legendary four time Iditarod winner, Lance Mackey.
Whilst Lacy is taking part in the Junior Iditarod to promote the charity, she needs help funding her trip from Florida to Knik, Alaska and with provisions whilst she is there.
Can you help Lacy with her quest ? and therefore help her spread the word about the symptoms of Diabetes and to save lives.
