Veteran musher, Jason Mackey has just launched his brand new website, just in time for the race season.
Jason Mackey has dog mushing in his blood. Jason has ran sled dogs since he was a little boy.
Growing up his dad, Dick Mackey, was involved in the Iditarod and was the 1978 Iditarod champion. Jasons oldest brother, Rick Mackey, was the 1983 Iditarod champion.
Jason and his brother Lance were hooked. Jason and Lance trained side by side for years. Lance became a champion in the Yukon Quest and Iditarod and was a legend in the mushing world.
Jason is returning this year, after taking some time off to hit his reset button.
After losing his brother to cancer this September, Jason is more driven then ever. On Fathers Day, Lance gave Jason a hug, shook his hand, and said “Go get them, you can do this … it’s your time !”
Whilst the world grieves the loss of a legend, Jason grieves the loss of a brother, a friend, a traveling partner and a champion.
Jason also has his own range of Merchandise for sale on his website. Including T-Shirts, Hoodies, Sweatshirts, Water Bottles and Mugs. They are available in various colours and sizes.
Jason also has some great Sponsorship opportunities. For just $2000 per year you can be a Gold Sponsor, which means Jason will put your logo on his truck, on his sled bag, on the back of his clothing range, a link, logo and description on his website, mentions on social media and a mention on the official Iditarod website.
If $2000 is a bit rich for you, there are plenty of other ways to support Jason and the Top Notch Racing Kennel. Why not sponsor an Iditarod checkpoint or sponsor a member of Jason’s dog team, or buy some dog food to keep his canine athletes in their best condition.
Jason’s website will be updated regularly with new photos, videos and updates on his race schedule.
If you love the Mackey family as much as we do, bookmark Jasons new website now.
